The House of Édition — Est. 2014

Fashion is a form
of expression.

We create clothing that speaks before you do — crafted with intention, worn with conviction.

Our Story

Born from a love of editorial fashion

Founded in London in 2014 by creative director Isabelle Fontaine, Édition was shaped in the pages of fashion magazines and the ateliers of Paris — and built on one belief: that a garment can be both commerce and art.

“We didn’t want to make clothes. We wanted to make a language.”

— Isabelle Fontaine, Creative Director

Today we show seasonal collections in Paris and Milan — each a new chapter in an ongoing editorial story.

Our Philosophy

The principles behind
every stitch

Three ideas guide everything we design, source, and create — from first sketch to final garment.

01

Intentional Craft

Design & Making

Every garment begins with a question: does this need to exist? If yes — we make it slowly, with materials chosen for longevity over trend. Craft is not an aesthetic. It is a commitment.

02

Expressive Restraint

Aesthetic Direction

We say more with less. Our collections are edited ruthlessly — a process that results in pieces that carry weight, presence, and meaning. Restraint is not minimalism. It is confidence.

03

Worn, Not Displayed

Human & World

Fashion exists in motion — on bodies, in streets, in the world. We design for the life you actually live, in silhouettes that move and fabrics that improve with time. Clothing should be used, loved, and kept.
